The Waverley Swim At School

The waves splashing onto the walls. Stepping onto the ladder with the warm water on my feet I slowly walked down into the cold water. As I go under the water it warms up but just then my classmates jump in and spoil the nice ,quiet, warm water by starting to splash and go crazy.

Do you know how to play a game called chasing tens. In this game you have a start line and a finish line then you have to chase a tennis ball and the first one to get the ball is the winner.

My teacher called Mr S called, “out of the pool and get changed in the toilets but 3 minutes only”. Mr S was waiting for 2 minutes then he says “five, four, three, two,  one. last one out does not go swimming tomorrow”.

I think I want to go swimming even more because it is good fitness.

Moon Jumpping

Once upon a time  astnode  went  jumping on the moon with happiness and joy picking up old moon rocks .

When suddenly there was an asteroid shower  go past  the moon and the man flu away and couldn't get back to earth .He was very lonely .
Too  he was so sad because his family was on and not with him in space.

But one day well night  in the universe a space shuttle was flying to plateo  to get a closer picture.  Instead saw a astnode go flying past. But so  stopped him by flying after him then brought him onto the spaceship.To take him home  .

The Mysterious Hanted house

It was halloween and four kids and one dog were out trick or treating. Just as they turned they saw a house and went to go inside to look around. When they got inside they decided to split up and look around   the  kids names  were  Kate, Don, Mike and Sarah.  

Don  was the owner of the  dog and the dog barked at another dog in the mirror. The new dog could talk and was talking to  Don’s   dog and just as   he finished  what he was saying a big bright light came. The dog turned to rock then  Don screamed rip and cried.

Just  then Kate  heard a ghost.  she ran out the backdoor and saved herself from stepping on  blooded all over the ground. So she ran  back inside and  just as she turned  the corner she  bumped  into Sarah and Kate told her about the people in the backyard. Then they went to  find Mike in a room with more dead people. After that they saw Don crying  and ran over to him to see what was wrong and he said rip is turned  into  a rock.

Don shouted “A ghost!!!” and they all screamed. People at a halloween party next door heard the kids and called the police as they went to help. Just before the people got inside they saw a dog,  and it was the one from the mirror, and  it turned them into rock.  just then  the police showed up but couldn’t find anybody just some oddly familiar statues. They taped the door shut so no one could get back into the old house and everyone had a good time at the halloween party.

One  small  little village lived 12357 people but  there was more but one  night 295 house were burnt    but most curt   frier from trees because Around the village was lot’s  of trees that happened on november 31. But  now it was   time  for   howley  and all the little boys and girls dressed up  in  scary costumes for howley most were vampires others were whichers and only 4 dressed up as princess  and went jrichol treat smell my feet give me something nice to eat and there  they  got toffee apples  10 more hours  later their mother said time to come home so all the girls said’ ok mother’ and went inside.


Once they got inside   they counted  how many  lollies they had in the end  all up they had 557 so they  decide to  eat  there toffee apples and  one of the girls took a bite and started choking.  

Then the mother called pearl helped get the pieces  of toffee apple out of the little girls thought and then the mother  called the doctor and  said ‘oh doctor can you come and see my daughter’ so the doctor came and said she is fine.

After all her mother was happy that her daughter is ok.

OCEAN SEA ON A HOT DAY

It was a beautiful day but it was too hot. I was going down to the beach. When I got there I saw my friends after  that I hopped out of the car and  we jumped into the ocean.

But as  we jumped into the ocean!  we saw a shark.  So we stood still and did not move then my mum  saw the shark  fin and panicked she was so whored .

But  then my dad  saw it and throw a  fish.the one he   threw had been bleeding  so the shark followed the smell of blood.And went away.

 I Really  had cool day but it was weird and surrey. But dad save my life and i felt so bad and  but was thankful  for him  to save my of my life  and to still be here.

Hilarious Times

1. WOW! running with one arm is  difficult. Did you know that  90% of the time  the paralympics are for the people that have metal legs and no arm but the hardest thing is being blind. But  yesterday we had to run with one arm it is hard and difficult. You only get use to it if you really  have lost a limbs.

Shot-put is the best sport in the world I am glad we got to have some time doing shot-put. But you would hate to stand on one leg and to do it with  a base ball. I did not like it because the first time I throw the ball it land in  front  of me and everyone  thought it was  hilarious I did  not.

At The Zoo

Did you know that we went to the zoo and I got to  help feed  a snake. I was so scared  I thought that it was going to bite me . Then I remembered  that a snake  likes  to eat  meat.

After that I went to see the monkeys. I also helped to feed them  too . I gave them  some  bananas and then some apples and  oranges.

Then me and my mum went to see the pride lands and gave them a big bunch of leaves and  then went to  the meerkats and went thought  the  dunloe and saw a meerkats threw a big hole .

Finally I returned  home to have dinner.  But one thing that was sore was my feet. Next time I want to feed  the  lions.

Wheel Chair

Did you know that paralympic are for splice  people
a charging bull racing for the finish line  hoping to win the gold medal but knowing that there are other  people in a wheelchair  to. Finally the race is over but still to come the medals. Hoping to get the gold for themselves.  they probably hate being disable but being a winner is not the only   best  thing  it is having good strength to win and also having good  sportsmanship.

Sometimes there are big problems in cross county but it is a lot of fun.
BANG!!!! goes the blocks running thuong the  gwey yuke mud .Saying to myself  ’’MAN i hate this’’  but in the end it  is fun.

The track was so muddy i slipped in the mud on my bum. That did not stop me from running .As i was running  i smelled a really yucky smell it smelled like cow poo!! but i kept  on running.

Whooo the finish line  thinking to myself  ’how on earth did i get here so fast’ running through  the finish line  ouch  i  thought falling down i got back up strat away and  ran the race.

In the end i had a good time i think that even thought  that i came 11th and fall down twice I had a good time wouldn't you ?

MY BBQ

Guess what ? Happened on tuesday  I  had  the most wonderful day with my friend called Bronek.  She and I had a BBQ at school it was so cool  . With my teacher and room 15 it is called  school  fun day .                                                         

Did you know that onions can make  you cry. Well they can make  you cry if they are really juicy. Cooked onions smell really nice  but I did not have any .

finally we were  able to put it all the ingredients  together . To taste the beautiful resemblance.  I hope you like my writing.

Coming First

Did you  go to the olympic ceremony?If you did  it is like you are running in the race. but you are  only cheering .

When you do run it is very hard. you  can come third  second  or first but you do need to try very hard. I love coming first .                                                                            

netball

Starting of a netball game is easy.  Winning is the hard thing  of all  . My name is sarah and one thing I like to do on a thursday night  is play  netball .But waking up on a tuesday and going to practices is boring. But the more you train  the better you get in netball.

last week I had a netball game but we did not win. Like I said  It is hard to get the perfect win. Because you need to be disciplined and that means
that you concentrate and listen to the couch.’’I love being in a netball team’’.

Olympic Torch Relay

Months before  each  olympics games there is a fire  torch to start it off .
The  women acts as a  priestess to ignite the torch of the first  person in to relay. The    flame  is to reunite everyone in the stadium.


One person  walks in  with the cauldron as the ceremony starts. It is passed on until it reaches  the last carrier. It  is placed down and is lit in the stadium. The cauldron is used to light the first torch to start the race.

Olympic symbols

The olympic symbols  are better known as the olympic linked rings  because at least two or three colours  are on every  flag. The rings represent the inhabited continents ( Africa, Asia,Europe,America ,Australasia).

The olympic flag was made in 1914 but it was first  raised  in 1920 .  Ever since it  has been raised on olympic competitions days and is going to continue to  over 2012.

This picture is about the beautiful beach of Point England Reserve . I like her picture because  the water looked like it was astley crashing into the rocks. This picture is inspired by the Point England Reserve .Tyler Janssen in room 18.

OFF to the workshop ! .Sue told us to put an apron on and fas the frount. I got straight into decorations .
I crated some shapes and then did a flowers.    then I did the shiny glass  and  sharp glass .I spilled some pink /purple  / blue and  green with some yellow.

Kiwis are new zealand birds that can fly . That  depend  on an exceptional smell  to find food.

The Tale of Robert Delaunay

Robert delaunay was a french painter he was married to a lady called Sonia. He was a writer  and a poet. He used vibrant colors  with geometric shapes.

On the left hand side was a pot  plant with all sorts of colors . There was a picture of a  lady in her kitchen cooking eggs.

He use vibrant colors to bring his art to life. He use different colors to oppose his art.

In the painting of tall portuguese woman on the left hand side there is plant and its leaves are contrasting colors. In the center is a woman at work.

About Jackson Pollock

Did you know that Jackson Pollock was born in 1912 and  he died in 1956 ?  He was born frances  but was raised in america in the city of New York .On the a 11 of August  Jackson Pollock was killed.He was married to a very beautiful .But she died    in 1984 when she was 75.But he flicked  his paint when he was 12.He use primary colors a lot.

Feeling Like Jumping into the water

Bored, sitting on the sideline with only a book full of 101 scary animals  and one person to play hand games with, I  felt  like jumping into the water! Watching all the kids in my class   swimming,  splashing, kicking and  holding  their  breath  under   the  water  having fun was annoying.

I  wished  I could   go swimming but I can’t  because I had an  ear operation. It was on my right  ear. Now  it's healing but  for two weeks  I am not allowed to go swimming.

I    want  to go swimming and soon I can go swimming  again. My Aunty said     she will take   me swimming when  my ear is  healed.

Have you ever seen your teacher dress up  as a bird? Well I did on Monday and it was so funny. The teacher next to him was dressed as a pig. This  is called  art  alive which is our topic.

There were four other teachers who were  dressed up as well. One was the Queen of Samoa.  Another was a picture of  ballerinas because the artist  liked to draw dancers. Also Vincent Van Gogh who cut off his ear because he was angry and upset.  Miss Garden played him. Mrs Lavakula  she played Mona Lisa. She was very famous  for being  painted because the artist was the first one to draw Mona Lisa.

Cooking At Camp

On day one we went to cooking  Mrs Jarmen  and we made scones in the kitchen.  And it was fun with her and after that we went out to the boy in our team .And  had  marshmallows with biscuits when we had finshed it was launch time and went in the big tent to eat. with the other people in our team but I sat with my friend Nikki.
