Week 9 & 10: 2015 Reflection, looking back, looking forward!

a. Write a quality reflection that shares my journey this year.  This includes reflection upon the year(s) ahead.

9 guides that help me to reflect on this year and the year ahead.

a. How do you feel about this year?

For me it really could have been better,

I got into trouble a bit this year and had to clean a few things  that were yuck, wasn’t really the year I could have hoped for.

b. What did you find especially satisfying this year?

This year the most satisfying thing for me would be the trips that team 5 had I hope for the year 8s next year that they have as much fun as this year's yr8’s did.

c. What did you find especially frustrating/difficult this year?

This was hard because I had to work with others and I prefer to work on my own because that way things get done the way I wanted it to.

d. If you were to to give yourself a grade out of 10 - 10 being awesome…what would you grade yourself? Why?

I would grade myself a 7 because I had a few pitchie part this year so that  a good one for me.

e. In what ways did you contribute to team 5 in 2015?

Just simply being a student and doing what I was told to do most of the time.

f. What would you change for yourself in 2016?

my whole life’s friends because some of the friends I have know aren't good to hang out with because we're the reason for us getting in trouble and my bad actions come with consequences

g. What might you want next year’s teacher to know about you?

I don’t really like to tell people what I like to do or what I like to make because of the judgements and looks I get

h. What things might you want more help with?

my math attitude is bad and I don’t really like to do math so if I get a teacher who can make me understand it and make it fun the i’m sure i’ll be fine.

Our poem is about a family in darkness and poverty. They live in this abandoned home and fight for their survival. They have had to adapt to this awful lifestyle.

Darkness of Life

Shattered glass across the floor

No one dares to open the door

Roof leaking

Drip drop drip drop

All you see is the mirror flop

1, 2, 3, 4, 5

All you see is the darkness thrive

The beds a mess

Nowhere to rest

Curtains closed almost there

Coldness seems to disappear

Warmness wraps the room like a teddy bear

With a life like there's

No one would dare

To even care

About this poor family in rags and rain

So help me now because there life is like a horror

“lights” “pulse” “panic! what's going with me” I said as I thought about standing on a stage in front of heaps of people “ herrrr can’t believe that I asked to do this” “OMG”. Then Chelsea, my best friend in the whole world walks in “ Sarah it’s time for you to go presenters were asked to line up 2 minutes ago what wrong” “nothing just washing my face let’s go”. The sore stomach had kick in, like a monster that had just been woken up from a hundred years of migration “aww”.

On the bus finally with all my friend making me feel less terrified of stage and lights I put a smile on my face and was going to fake till I had made it. At Sylvia Park hoyts cinema, everything was going well until I saw the spot light that made everyone see you on the stage. Being a presenter was the hardest thing ever.

The first presenters were my friends Jordan and josephine they made it look so easy and for a good reason there movie was great, but I knew that once there movie had finished my presenter buddy and myself was up next and the terror flushed through me like a drink of orange juice, but my buddy Liz told me that your blinded by the light you can’t even see anyone, that made me feel better and before I knew it was over and done with and I was on the seats watching everyone else movie’s.

After and hour in a hot  and mugie theater everyone that was going back to school was outside in the icy winds waiting for the bus to come. A group of friend and myself were sitting with the little presenters playing hand games while keeping each other warm.

When the bus came I quickly snuck on to the bus with my friends and went back to school with her. After we were back at home Mrs Tele’a got us to watch other schools movies and comment on their blogs to give them some feed back the day was awesome and we finished it of with  a song in the afternoon.

The day was a blast
